Even without paper loss, those corners make that card vg/ex. It is probably just grossly overgraded. |

So ... all's well that ends well, I guess. Buyers bid on the card, not the holder, and it ended up right about where a VGEX should have. |

I don't know that I agree. The card sold for $1500 in a PRO holder which means it's most likely trimmed, altered, etc. Obviously, why would anyone submit to PRO when it could be graded by a reputable service? Look at the following recent ebay sales: |

Correct - all good points. I was assuming unaltered - general price for vg-ex regardless of shopping around. But Pro holders are a little suspect. It didn't get the price increase of a 7, but also didn't take the hit for the brand name. |
