A few Addie Joss pics and Ty's passport...... a nice mixture to start a week...and some narration from Marshall concerning the photo's.....

"Carl Horner, a photographer, who took many of the photographs where the images appear in the T 206 set. In collecting photographs with mounts, the condition of the mounts is considered when grading the photograph. This image is mint and was once owned by Baseball Magazine.

Here is another photograph of Eddie Joss. This Photograph was take by the famous and important photographer Charles Conlon. Conlon was the first photgrapher to shoot photographs of player on the field. All the photographs you view are Type One. Type One are photographs develoed from the original negative within in two yerars of the image depicted on the photograph.

When it comes to the best in baseball photography, Carl Horner's Cabinets are as good as it gets!

The highlight for me of Mr. Wong's book was the section with Mr. Fogel's Carl Horner Cabinets.

Where would items like this sell at auction? Most of the auctions I see are card only... would Lelands/Mastronet sell a Ty Cobb Passport? That's a very cool item!
