Default The T206 Luther Taylor Show

Posted By: Nathan

Thanks to the many friends I have made here - here's a quick snapshot of some of the Luther Taylors I have obtained.

I scaled down the picture so might not be able to see all what is on that picture...

What I have there are...

SGC 60 El Principe De Gales
SGC 50 Piedmont
SGC 50 Old Mill
SGC 40 Sovereign
SGC 40 Sweet Cap Factory 25
SGC 40 Sweet Cap Factory 30
SGC 40 Polar Bear

Then the rest are duplicates of above in different lower grades.

Does anyone try the same with their favorite player? To get as many different backs...I still have a few left to find...

Regards,
Nathan

That is super cool!

What's next for you? Search for a PSA8 or PSA9? Wallpaper an entire wall? Where do we stop!

Very cool though!

Awesome! I'm attempting the same thing with Phil Poland T206s.
He doesn't show up often and when he does it happens to be a back I already have. I missed an American Beauty back a few months back...UGH! I only have 3 back types of him so far.

Piedmont 350, Soveriegn 350, and Sweet Cap 350 Fact.30.

I try the same thing with T205 Harry Wolter cards and I'm always looking for his cards if you have any.

The Taylor's are very cool!

I do this with all the Baltimore players. I have 9 different Sam Strang AB, BroadLeaf,Cycle, Piedmont, Polar Bear, Sovereign, Sweet Cap 25&30 and Tolstoi.

Mike P. I only have 4 different Polands and about 50 or so different of the possible 117 front/back combos.

I knew there was someone out there besides me who did this.

Happy collecting!

Love those cards.

I have embarked on a similar project with some Philadelphia National players. I've got a couple tough backs for some of the players out of the way. It's a fun and really cool project. Good stuff!

I have been collecting Bill Graham with different backs. Don't know why I picked him. Let me know if anybody can help me out with other backs of him. Thanks, Bill

Thanks for the replies...Wasn't sure if you guys would like the picture but seems it went over well especially with those trying the same thing with different players.

my 19th century page--but they're all different cards, and three woodcuts. (also have a woodcut too big to scan).

O/T?

Nathan,

Show us their backs too. I know you have the blank back of it which is amazing.

Yes, I should show the backs...I thought the text writeup would be enough.

Scott is correct - I do have a blank back although that hasn't been submitted to SGC yet. I'm still in awe of Hal's recent acquistion.

Nathan
