Nice pick-up, Julie. My bid wasn't quite strong enough. I suppose I'll have to wait for the next one to come around. |

my two E90-1 Oakes cards have better color than my Nadja I recently picked up. I would venture to guess that the super color in your E92 Nadja accounted for the nice grade given the corners are Vg to VG/EX. That is a nice, clean and unfaded Oakes with very vibrant colors - Great Card! |

I picked up a nice T3 Turkey Red of Joe Tinker, a couple of OJS (Keefe and Hanlon) as well as 10 T206 Cubs, including Tinker, Evers, Chance and Brown. A friend was selling his old Cubs collection (including a program for the 1938 Yankees Cubs World Series and other 1940s cubs Programs). |

The thumbnails are set up in a HTML table. A link is then attached to each thumbnail taking you to a new HTML page with a larger embedded image and card description. |

SSSSWWWEEETTTT cards Mark! Where does EVERYONE/ANYONE on this board find /1920's/1930's cards? Any provided info. would be appreciated! All I seem to find is 50's-60's Topps. I want to diversify my collection. Where do you find 19th century material as well. |

I only have 3 vices, baseball cards, my computer and my home theatre system. My TV 12 years old when it died, so I was way past due to get a new TV. PLus, when my computer monitor dies, I have no need to buy a new one of those. |

Picked up this interesting group in their original envelope. Invitations to the Monitor Base Ball Club's Ball. The social events were primary and base ball was secondary to most of these clubs. |

In regards to the Gaynor auction, after looking at the group of Mantles' lot that he is offering for bid, given the condition of the cards WHY in the world would have ANYONE submitted those cards to psa for grading? Can ANYONE PLEASE explain this to me? My recent purchases just today (June 12, 2005) include a 1952 Topps Bob Feller and a 1968 Topps Johnny Bench (rookie card)SORRY folks, NOT too many people here in Des Moines, Iowa have TRUE VINTAGE stuff. I have to settle with what I can get my hands on! |

I recently purchased the postcard on the left (can't make out the postal date). I was surprised to see it had the same photo as an old blank back card I have. By the way anybody know what the card is? date, type or origin? |

I have one of each, a postcard and tobacco size card. The postcard has a canceled one cent stamp on back. I bought the postcard because it had the same picture as my card. No idea what the card is, I've had it for a long time now. Any help would be appreciated. |
