I notice that the Standard Catalogue corrects the 1931-32 Four-on-One Exhibit of Ruth, Gehrig, Lary and (James) Reese by noting that the Reese pictured is actually Andrew Reese. According to my Baseball Encyclopedia, though, Andrew (Randy) Reese played only for the Giants and completed his career in 1930. Can anyone speculate as to how Andrew Reese ended up on this Yankee card after completion of his career? Thanks. Mark |
