Post Cereal/Jello Collectors dinner at the National

Hi Gang:

The National Sports Collectors Convention is back in Chicago again at the end of the July into early August .

As we have done for the last few Chicago shows I am writing to invite you all to a Post Cereal/Jello collectors dinner.

The first step is to see what night works best for the majority of collectors. I am looking at either Friday night the1st or Saturday night the 2nd.

I am asking all of you who are attending the show, and want to join our get together to let me know privately via a PM which night (s) would be best for you. Friday or Saturday or both.

Please reply ONLY if you will be attending and if so please list in order of preference the night that you would be able to attend and how many people in your party.

Once I get enough feedback I will let everyone know the night that the most collectors can attend

In past years we have met in the Hilton across the street from the Convention Center about an hour after the show closes.

At any rate I hope we can get together again. If you have any friends who collect Post/Jello who will not see this message here, please mention this to them and if they are able and willing to join us please pass along a copy of this post to them and have them contact me

Looking forward to replies of those of you who will be coming to the show. I don't mean to be curt to those of you not attending, it's just the volume of emails, replies, planning, reservations etc. takes up a ton of time and it works best for me to just communicate with those who possibly will be in Chicago for the show.

Really nice you do this Fred. Have seen pictures of previous get-togethers, and you definitely get folks with just a ton of knowledge of Post Cereal and Jell-O. Probably tons of good stories at your dinner. Just do not have the mobility to travel and get around at the national, so am disappointed I cannot attend. Post some pictures if you would.
