Hi,
My name is Jeff Young and I am a new member of the Net54baseball forum. I own the largest newspaper sports page and sports related newspaper collection in the country. Many of my pages and newspapers are very rare. I operate an eBay store called Gallery of The Game that has over 2000 listings.

In my Store, you will not only find Major Sporting events and stars from yesteryear, but you will find lesser-known stories and photos of players, teams and events. These offer an opportunity to find a genealogical history of family members who played sports. My store also carries other sports related paper ephemera.
You can contact me via e-mail at

Attached is an example of one of my listings. It is a "Sports Extra" front page that came from an October 3, 1906, edition of Chicago Daily News newspaper. This front page contains a large, bold banner headline announcing that the Chicago White Sox have won the American League Baseball Pennant setting up the first and only all Chicago World Series. The center of the page features a photo of Sir Thomas Lipton surrounded by cartoon illustrations that are associated with news that there are 85 entries in the Columbia Yacht Regatta to honor a visit by Sir Thomas Lipton.
