Default Looking for info on vintage football board game.

Recently picked up this football board game at an estate sale. I can’t seem to find much information on the Internet about it. There was a handbill for an old movie in the box that someone was using to keep score and the movie handbill dates to 1938.

Yes I would guess 1930s vintage..... value is not much unfortunately unless a known player is pictured or featured.... its still pretty cool and a vintage sports item so worth collecting..... love that football graphic on the cover! I own a bunch of football and baseball games from that era but havent seen that particular one before.

We've seen that game only a few times over many years, but then it's always been
tabletop baseball we've searched for and run across football just by happenstance.
The handful of examples we've seen weren't nearly as complete as yours --
missing the cards or the playing field / gameboard -- so that alone makes yours
more attractive to boardgame collectors. Nice item!

The graphics are cool, for sure.

Having this movie handbill inside with scoring on the back certainly helps to date it to that 1930’s era.
