1909 E254 Square Demmett-stain to left and on back of card-$75.00
Circa 1910s proof card of Jennings-missing top left corner. Measuring nearly 2 x 2-3/4", "significant creasing throughout and is printed on a wafer-thin paper stock." Includes vertical crease from the top right border into his shoulder which breaks the surface paper and becomes more pronounced/widened at the top edge of the dugout. The crease goes down through the body to the right of the "D" down to the bottom border. Breaking to the right of the vertical crease at the belt and going out the bottom border is another crease. The name is properly spelled as opposed to the one offered in the Hunt auction sheet in May. If you submit this card for grading it will probably grade authentic given the missing top left corner. $1000.00. 1911 Sporting News (Not Sporting Life) Hofman (sic on card as Hoffman)-rare set card. Diagonal crease from just below mid right border into the picture and down through the "O" in "HOFFMAN." Corner wear. A dot back left border parallel to the back of the "5." Three spots upper right back as you hold the card horizontally. A spot diagonally up to the left of the "L" in "LOUIS" and another diagonally up to the right of the same "L." Also, a spot that looks like a period following the "L" Also, a spot to the right of the base of the "P" in "Plamondon," a dot above the beginning of the first "n" in "Plamondon" and couple more diagonally up to the right of the same "n." The crease from the upper right of the second "0" in "Plamondon: to the right edge parallel to just above the name. Finally, there are two basically vertical marks just above the bottom border below and diagonally to the left of the "P" in "Plamondon" and a stain on the bottom edge which starts vertically below the space between the first and last names and extends along the bottom edge to vertically below the "P" in "Plamondon." Listening to offers. 1916 D381 Fleischmann's Bakery Bancroft without the tab. I direct your attention to the left border parallel to the left cheek and the tape on the back of the card at the same spot. Apparently, someone repaired the horizontal tear. There is also some back bottom right corner wear. Now $400.00. On the Fleischmann's Bakery Bancroft regardless of where in the mainland 48 United States, the s/h is $7.50 because of size. Hawaii and Alaska are additional. 1916 D381 Fleischmann Bakery George Burns (NL) SGC 40 VG 3 with tab-$450.00. (Sold) S/h is $7.50 because of size 1916 D381 Ferguson Bakery Snodgrass SGC 10 Poor 1-staining back left. Horizontal break in the front surface paper from the left border into the background diagonally down to the left of the ear-$125.00. S/h is $7.50 because of size. 1927 E126 Bancroft-Bancroft has a wrinkle rising from the mid-left border into the jersey above the elbow. Above the hands on the bat is a wrinkle, another one slightly above that on the bat and a third one on the bat parallel to the shoulder that extends to the breaking slightly upward in the background again parallel to the shoulder on the right side. On the first crease mentioned on the front comes up to the space before the "P" in "Pa." in the last line of the back. The last crease I mentioned from the front is coming down from the middle top into the "h" and "e" after splitting above the pair in "the" in the first line. There is another wrinkle from the top that dot above the "o" in "of" in the first line. From the right border where the last wrinkle is mentioned on the front boarder where extends from parallel to the shoulder down to parallel to the belt. That last front wrinkle/crease splits at the border of the picture into the right border. The lower one is parallel to the white line in the bat while the second one is is parallel to the shoulder. Wear back bottom border. Now $200.00. (Sold) 1927 E126 Sisler-minor corner wear. (Sold) 1928 Star Candy Dugan-"17" in pencil on the back as well as a diagonal pencil mark on the back. Corner wear-$300.00. Unless otherwise noted because of size s/h is $5.65 outside of California, Oregon, the state of Washington and Arizona in which case the s/h is $6.05. S/h to Hawaii or Alaska is higher. Larger sizes will be more and the amount will be mentioned at the end of the listing.
