Default Does a Mathewson dark cap Drum actually exist?

I just got the (dumb) idea of going for this back run and wanted to make sure that the Drum and Red Hindu didn't exist. But t206resource has Drum as confirmed. No sales results in google or VCP though. Has anyone seen this combo?

Yeah that looks like what t206 resource has as well.

I think it might be 19 backs rather than 20 if the Drum was a false positive. But I'd include Coupon Type 1, so it would be 20 combos.

Good luck on the quest - imo, one of the greatest cards ever made

C'mon Luke, isn't there some other run you can start? I could do without any more competition on this one!

I essentially came to the conclusion that I will never complete it, so I haven't put much effort into adding more backs. It's a great card and one of my favorites.

Good luck Luke if you decide to head down that road. Such a great card.

Want to add. Scott and I combined could make quite the run. Nice cards Scott.

Scott, that's a beautiful sight! I only have 1 of those, so we'd only be searching for the same 7 or so combos.

I talked to Brady last night and he said he never heard of a Drum while he was working on the master set. So I guess that's case closed unless it pops up at auction someday.

Thanks Dean. Between the three of us, maybe we're already done.

Great project Luke. And great cards Scott…I really like the way you have the miscut back, stamp, etc on some of the easier backs…that’s cool.

I have 13 combinations on the Matty dark. A Drum, Red Hindu, or Lenox surfacing would certainly destroy any hopes of finishing it though.

Thank you Dean! That’s a great t213-1…there aren’t many of those out there.

Here are the ones I currently have. The t213-2 and P350 both have ‘Dunn, Baltimore’ as the name visible at the top, which I think is cool.

Spectacular Sonny. That has to be the best, at least one of the best, Matty dark cap runs out there.

Thanks for sharing info, everyone.

And thanks, Sonny, for showing a great back run!

Back in the day I had some rare backs but chose type collecting to go forward collecting. That's what's so great about the hobby, an infinite number of ways to collect.
