Default 1930s Photo ID Help - Jimmie Wilson & Athletics

Hi Everyone, requesting an assist on the attached photo. It's a type I from the 1930s I'm guessing. The only player I recognize is Jimmie Wilson in his catcher's gear. Someone from the Athletics has just hit a home run and is receiving congrats as he crosses the plate.

Any help with player identification, era, etc., is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I'm guessing 1931 World Series Game 3 Bottom 9th. Al Simmons has just homered cutting the Cardinals lead to 5-2.

The A's player holding the bat is 100% Jimmie Foxx. The only time Jimmie Wilson would have faced a Foxx led Athletics team is the 1931 WS I believe. Assuming Foxx is ready to bat, the player that just homered is Al Simmons. Simmons homered twice in the 31 WS, but only once at Shibe park - game 3.

That would make:

A's Player crossing home plate: Al Simmons
A's Player holding bat: Jimmie Foxx
A's player waiting to congratulate: Eric McNair
Card's Catcher: Jimmie Wilson
Umpire: Dolly Stark

I could be completely wrong, however.

Amazing Steven, thanks so much. I was considering sending it to PSA to have it preserved and you helped me make that decision. Jim

Once again, a big thanks to Steve for the information regarding this photo and he was absolutely correct.

It's finally back from PSA and I wanted to share the results.

I appreciate the help from everyone.
