Default Williams Antelope Head

OK, so, my father-in-law ran an antique shop out of the back of his home and it turns out that taxidermy antelope head hanging in the shop for the past 15 years was actually bagged by Ted Williams. Long story short, the family home (and shop) are being cleared out for sale and the receipt for the antelope head was attached to the back. The receipt is from an auction of the estate of Dolores Wettach Williams which took place in 2008 in the next town over from the shop.

My questions are what might this be worth? And who would I talk to about sale/auction?

Hard to price something like that. I don’t think it would bring very much more than what a similar condition piece would ordinarily get. There is a Williams connection but l really don’t see that getting a significant premium. Others may see differently.

Gotta be a niche market but who knows?

Not sure bagging an antelope is a big deal. When I drive across Wyoming, I see 100s of them.
