FS: Canadian 80% junk silver: (2) dime tubes ($5 face) (2) quarter tubes ($10 face)
Selling two tubes of Canadian dimes and quarters at under spot + shipping. As of now, the price for a tube of dimes ($5 face) will be $80 and quarters ($10 face) will be $160.
FYI: One tube of dimes has four 1967s (mackerel design)…it’s very difficult to know if they’re 50% or 80% silver…they are still silver, but without maybe a gravity test, it’s almost impossible to decipher what percentage they are. |
The Canadian Mint issued two compositions of the dime and quarter in 1967 and again in 1968. In 1967, there is the standard 80% silver/20% copper variety and the 50% silver/50% copper type. In mid-year 1968, they changed the quarter and dime from 50% silver/50% copper to a 99% nickel composition.
