Who else has framed cards, encased them in UV-blocking glass, and put them on a wall (not exposed to direct sunlight) for all to see?

You’ve just described the best cards in my collection, apart from the UV glass.

Nicely done.
Before the cost of the Mantle went up five fold I had plans to frame the 1954 Red Heart set with an ad featuring Stan Musial. Who knows, eventually I may bite the bullet and purchase the Mantle. The Musial ad can be found at the link below. https://www.sportscollectorsdaily.co...still-barking/

I believe this was from a member on here and I don't remember the thread. Had just saved the photo because it really is a work of art.

Will share one of my displays here. Cards are loose so I just have to be careful not to turn on the fan!

Here is some more non-prewar but Card Art. Andy Friedman has some work through Topps apparently.

The frame job wasn't cheap, but it was cheaper than the cards. Most of them were PSA/SGC 3s and 4s

In my only foray into the T206 world as a KC baseball fan, I built the small Kansas City Blues team set and hung it in my home office. I thought it would be fun to decorate the matte in a "Piedmont" style. I cut holes in the back of the matte so you can still see the backs if you turn the frame over.
Fun project, and the only T206 cards I own. Pic1.JPG Pic11.JPG |

I'm not a set collector but photos like these make me want to pursue the Monster someday. Just a beautiful, enormous set.

Speaking of T206, I framed these on my scanner to produce this work of T206 art. It was produced during my red/orange period.
Brian (if I were to reframe this scan, I would stick Criger on far right of bottom row. It is the artist's prerogative to tinker with his creations) |

Speaking of tinker, the Tinker portrait card would slot in nicely in this arrangement, perhaps replacing the Kling. Although I love the individual look of Kling's two tone background, the red background present on the Tinker portrait better suits the artistic vision for my ensemble cast of portraits. Brian (Tinker not mine...what do you think, I'm made out of red/orange money?) |
