1969 Globe Imports lot/21 NEAR MINT w/6HOF Banks, Robinson etc- Ends Sun 2/18 8pm CST

This week I have four lots of cards from 4 different decades ranging from 1912 to 1969, which include 1912 C46 of HOF Joe McGinnity, 1924 Zeenut, 1950 Bowman, and 1969 Globe Imports. Plenty of chances to add a little more flavor to your spicy gumbo collection.

This lot consists of a group of 21 1969 Globe Imports cards with six HOF players included (Banks, F. Robinson, Brock, Oliva, Cepeda and Santo) as well as several minor stars and big shots of that era. These cards are paper thin, as is evidenced by the backs - the back scan basically shows what they look like when you hold the cards up to light. The scan cut off borders on a few cards, these are all full size Near Mint examples. Some of the cards have some great action shots - too bad these cards weren't issued in thicker stock and the black and white images bolder, because I think they would be much more popular.

Also, note the scan only has 20 cards...Rick Monday was left off the scans, perhaps because he had important flag rescuing duties seven years after these were issued.

Minimum opening bid is $1 for this and my other 3 lots in this auction category, and the bidding increment should be in whole dollars. Bids with a time stamp of 8:00 pm CST on closing night or earlier are valid, anything after that is considered an unsuccessful bid.

The shipping if you win one of my auctions this week will be in a padded envelope at a reduced price of $3.00, for two or three cards it will also be $3.00 total. Win all 4 auctions and the shipping will be FREE.
