I don't have either of those, sorry. Do you have any duplicates you'd sell?

Default INformation

I was in Cleveland from 1982-85 and active in the hobby. There were a ton of fake Paige pencil clips all over the place for sale at that time. Just a warning.... kind of lost track of these since those days.

I have been collecting them over the years. Currently I have 60 out of the 90 total pencil clips. Some are really tough to find. I have doubts that I will ever complete the set. But who knows. Have not seen fakes but I am sure they are out there somewhere.

Do you know which are the rare ones? Any idea why some are more rare than others? Is it individual clips that are rare or is one series more rare than others? Thanks for any info

There was a guy on this board that completed the set some years ago. I forgot his name. He stated the following were the toughest to find:

Joe Gordon - 1948
Al Gettel - 1948
Mike Tresh - 1949
Pete Reiser - 1952

Its a tough set to complete. I have read there are only a few that have been able to find them all.
