Seller was submitting cards, cracking them out to get the flips and resumbit, then using the flip with an even worse card or counterfeit to seal in a fake slab.

That scam would have worked way better before there was pics of most graded cards available. Hopefully they got caught before they put thousands of them out there.

I just read those threads in detail and from what I can follow, the notches/blocks/tabs on the fake slabs seem to be the giveaway. I need to double check the slabs I own to see if any look out-of-sort.

Thanks for posting this, John. Why do these things always seem to start in January? It's as if people make a resolution to find a new scam.
