Estate Sale stories
I just visited an estate sale of a gentleman who passed five years prior but his family has just gotten around to parting with his stuff. He was in the military during the 40s and was really big into Japanese baseball. He later became a photographer/journalist for the local paper. Sometimes the stories about the people are just as cool as the items being sold and in some cases the provenance makes the items more valuable. Here is a thread for people who want to share their estate sale stories. Share about the previous owner or share about the awesome items you find.
