Quick question for the experts .
Can a laminated card be removed from the lamination or does the acrylic / plastic laminating material stick / adhere to the card possibly ruining the card surfaces ? |

Thanks and that was what I feared . I bought a 1960 Topps complete set for a great price but the Yaz is laminated , but I have an extra Yaz RC lying around in roughly the same condition as the laminated card so I’ll put it with the set and just keep the laminated card out of the set .

Laminated cards serve quite nicely as drink coasters...I would save the laminated Yaz rookie for special guests.

I am amazed we don't see more laminated cards. For a short time in the late 80s it was a thing to laminate your cards to protect them. I remember seriously considering having some vintage Mantle cards and Boggs rookies laminated, so glad I never done it.

There was one that sold on eBay recently, and went cheap too. I considered buying it for an upcoming signing, but I wasn't sure how the signature would adhere to it and didn't want to take the chance.
