Bobby Orr 1966 Jd Mccarthy Post Card With Roomie Era Signature. Condition is solid exmt plus with lightly touched corners.

mccarthy was a Michigan area photographer that took player photos and sold postcards to team (gift shops) and players (fan mail requests). This pic was likely taken preseason 1966 (#30 whiteout for #4 on sleeves). And was likely sent by orr to a lucky fan right around his rookie campaign.

im told psa will no longer recognize the pc796 issue as many were produced over a period of time... that said they usually show up in a “cut” or “photo” slab.
there was a forum post somewhere on the web of a collector who got one of these in response to an auto request in 1967...

i have only been able to track Down 6 exemplars, of which 5 were signed (3 personalized). Ultra rare orr rookie issue with period sig that is a must for the orr collector
