Comparing Cap Anson Photos ears? (Is it him)

I was sold on the fact my photo was supposedly an Anson type 1 photo--comparing ears of known Anson photo on the right, I am now suspicious in fact its not Anson..the ears don't appear to match?---

So the slope angle of the ears change too--if they do that answers the difference in the shapes. So my photo may still be Anson--yes or no?

You haven't expressed an opinion, you have only posted a crudely cut out (by somebody) of Anson head with part of his ear sliced off.

I think it might be because his photo is a type 1 and it looks like that gray paint that they’d put around photos for newspapers.

That's funny - I have that contemporary photo of Anson and his ear is curved - you clearly altered it to make it look straight.
