I don't know what to do about this, if anything, but I recently posted a few 1970s ticket stubs, including Yankees. In my titles, I mention if any star or HOF players played in the games.
Same day I get some low ball offers for only the ones I have with people like Munson, Aaron, etc listed, plus an old low-grade $2 bill. I declined all of his offers, and he wrote back and asked me what I wanted. I offered 10% off and haven't heard from him since.
I checked the buyer and found that he sells "...reprints and post cards that were left to me..." with no returns of course.
Sure enough I see what he's got for sale, and what he's sold and it's often random vintage stuff that just happens to have an autograph of Cobb, Ruth, Gehrig, Maris, or Jackie Robinson on it. Bad fakes all, but I guess those are the only ones he or his cohorts have "mastered". Old currency, post cards, envelopes...he seems to try and match the item to the player...i.e. Yankee Stadium postcard signed by Ruth and Gehrig, Yankee ticket signed by Munson, etc.
I'm going to block him from buying from me, but I'm curious if anything else can be done as he's obviously trying to protect himself by calling them reprints, but to the eye they are clearly forgeries and he's creating fraudulent items.
