Fs-unique 1954 vic wertz gpc world series the catch!
Fs here is a very neat vic wertz gpc with content regarding the upcoming 1954 world series
Its a gpc post marked 9/15/54. Its from vic wertz (signed twice) and addressed to bob spackman (40’s minor leaguer, author and miu athletic trainer)-will also include photo of mr spackman. Wertz writes: Dear bob, You most certainly have my permission to use my picture. Can you imagine my getting into a series after starting the season with Baltimore? Certainly wouldnt have dreamed it! Best of luck Bob and best wishes to mrs. spackman. Write me whenever you can bob Sincerely, vic wertz Exactly two weeks later bob would be on the losing end of the catch! $35 pp ff shipped
