Hello I recently acquired this piece online and I was hoping someone with more knowledge could speak towards its possible authenticity.

I'm far from an expert on these leathers, but all the ones I've ever seen have much more faded images than this one. This one is just so striking and dark that I'm questioning it's authenticity. But, remember, I'm by no means an expert so this is just an opinion. Best of luck with it and I hope it's a really nice authentic leather.

it looks fine to me. i have owned 4-5 of these over the years, and all but one had dark printing like yours. to me that is not a red flag especially when the other aspects of the piece all check out. aside from a bit of wrinkling on yours likely because of the dried leather, it looks to be in great shape. if the leather were worn and scuffed then you wouldn’t expect the printing to be bold. but your leather appears in fine shape.

I have owned 2 different L1 leathers over the years and have seen a Walsh before up close. This one looks good. And the image is well preserved. Thank you for sharing it.
