Hake’s Auction #226 Now Online-1914-15 CJ Cards, 1924 Negro League WS Panorama & More
Hake’s Auction #226 is online and open for bidding NOW at hakes.com. The auction closes March 13-14.
There are 1,800 items in all covering a wide range of Pop Culture collectibles and Americana. The highlight of the baseball section is a 1924 Inaugural Negro League World Series panoramic photo featuring the KC Monarchs & Hilldale Giants which includes EIGHT HOF MEMBERS (item #539). Another important Negro League photo is for the 1924 Eastern Colored League champion Hilldale Giants (item #540). There are over 150 PSA graded cards from the 1914 and 1915 Cracker Jack series including: 1915 Shoeless Joe Jackson #103 PSA Good 2 (item #587). 1914 Fred Clarke #70 PSA EX 5 (item #552). 1914 Frank Chance #99 PSA Good 2 (item #554). 1915 Ed Roush (HOF RC) #161 PSA Good 2 (item #595). Lot #595 is a 1915 Cracker Jack #161 Ed Rousch (Roush) RC. He wasn't in the 1914 set.
