WTB for a good cause: 1978 Laughlin Long Ago Black Stars - Chet Brewer
Hello! I'm working on a piece I'll be donating to the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in Kansas City.
BREWER.jpg One player I still need a card for is Chet Brewer. I believe the only two licensed cards of him are his 1978 Laughlin and the later Phil Dixon set. However, the Dixon cards are the wrong size for the project. There are high-grade copies of the Brewer card in the $90 range, but this is very high considering what I've already spent and still need to spend. Plus, I am good to go with raw VG-EX as long as the front shows no significant damage beyond corners. Please let me know if you have a Chet Brewer available for me. I am happy to pay full/fair price. I just need to avoid the premium attached to things like PSA 9. Jason
