Default 1980 Topps Basketball Box - what should I do?
Recently discovered that my 1980 full Topps Basketball box that I originally bought 20 years ago contained resealed packs and I assume all of the bird/Erving/magic rookies have been removed. So what I’m left is a full box resealed packs with what I assume are some sharp cards just minus the big one. I can’t knowingly sell them now as unopened packs so I guess I’m left with opening them up and hoping for the best??

So we will be opening the box at Christmas. Hoping for the best and will have lots of pack fresh cards for sale I guess

Bought the box back in the late 90s so no idea where we got it. Everything else was good. Yeah should be fun at Christmas....who wants to buy all of my “pack fresh” commons?

If they're cheap enough I might.

I don't have many from that set, the dealer I hung out at showed me a Bird/Erving/ Johnson, and said it would be a great card. I bought one pack, got one, and pretty much stopped. All the rest of what I've got came from random cards in box lots or those retail "100 cards for $5" deals.
