Default WTB - 1938 Jimmie Foxx Goudey (either #249 or #273)

I am looking for a lower grade (1.5-3) 1938 Goudey Jimmie Foxx with nice eye appeal. It could be either 249 or 273. I probably prefer the #273 more, but at this point, either would be fine.

My oldest is slowly building his pre-war collection and always gives me a card on his want list at Christmas time.

My Wife's maiden name is Fox. Her late Father's name was Jim and he was born in 1938. Jim's dad was a big baseball fan and although it probably only coincidence, he was named after the beast and he took on that nickname in elementary school.

Conner has decided to collect all of his issues. He currently has the '34 Goudey (thanks to a board member for letting me purchase it a couple of years ago). He was trying to decide between going after one of the '33's or 38's and landed on '38 since '33 looks like the '34 and '38 was Jim's birth year.

I'll keep looking at Ebay and trying to find the right card at the right price - but if you have a lower graded one that you are looking to upgrade and it looks decent, please let me know. Still some time between now and Christmas, but I thought I would get a jump on it now!

Thanks
