1962 VENEZUELAN Topps set break

Yes, you read that correctly - I am breaking up a 1962 Venezuelan complete set! They will be offered mostly as team sets, with certain key singles (Managers dream, Clemente, Leaders cards, Ruth cards) being offered individually. Some are graded, some are not, most are in incredible condition for the issue. Some of the cards have remnants of the wrapper glue (they used a really crappy one that stuck to cards sometimes) on the card backs - I will note that when it appears. Prices are firm for the first 10 listed days - anything left after that will have some flexibility. These are exquisitely difficult cards - especially in the condition most of these are in. Chicago White Sox (9 cards) 399.00

The Fox is awesome - well centered, crease free with even wear to the corners. The Aparicio is one of 2 cards in this set that were made specially for it - it is card #200 - unfortunately it is in poor condition - it has a bad crease, paper loss to the front and back. The balance of the set is awesome - The White Sox team card has 2 very small spots of paper loss on the reverse. The Herb Score card is stunning

Baltimore Orioles (11 cards) 1299.

The Boog Powell is the key in this group second highest graded a PSA 5 it is the only 5 with a single 8 higher than it. One that looks nice but for a couple of major stains just sold for over $200 on ebay .
Next up is Brooks Robinson - Only graded a PSA 2 - with some of that pesky wrapper adhesive on the back - still a very respectable copy. The backs are clean on the rest of the group. I call attention to The Johnny Temple which is an unusually nice copy.

Milwaukee Braves (9 cards) 629.

Mathews and Spahn lead this team both graded 5's. Braves Team card featuring Hank Aaron is graded a 3.5. All the cards have clean backs.

Detroit Tigers (11 cards) 529.

Tigers Team card is the blazer in this group - second highest graded at a 6.5!! with only a single 8 better. Kaline could be better - graded a 1. Colavito is really nice. Boros has some of that wrapper adhesive on the back. "Bob's Pupils" has a tiny amount of paper loss on the back. Balance of set have clean backs.

San Francisco Giants

San Francisco Giants (8 cards) 429

Jim Davenport highest graded (1 of 2) PSA 6 and Chuck Hiller 2nd highest graded PSA 5 lead this team followed closely by a graded SGC 3 Orlando Cepeda. Larsen and Miller have wrapper adhesive on the back. Alou has a tiny amount of wrapper adhesive on the back. McCormick has a crease in the top right corner.

Musial is SGC 4, Washburn PSA 5 (2nd highest graded), McCarver PSA 2. Backs are all clean. Crease in Minoso, crease in top right corner of Cardinals team card

First up is the Managers dream card - It is the 3rd highest graded in the SGC population with a 55 and 60 just ahead of it. There are only 3 PSA 4's and 1 graded 7 higher. The card is Awesome!! $5,000. puts this one in your collection.

Next is the #53 Home Run Leaders cards featuring Mantle and Maris at a PSA 3 it is the 4th highest graded with a total of only 7 cards higher. 749. brings this one home.
