I was looking for a Waterfield card for my collection and this one caught my eye. I'm usually pretty good about controlling impulse purchases, but the owner had two others up and I wound up winning all 3 - I was the only bidder as none were 99 cent auctions. I don't really know anything about this set other than that I now own half the football cards counting the fact that PSA is listing two variations of the Trippi. Does anyone have any of these? Were they distributed in cereal boxes? Was the reverse image Trippi always recognized as a separate card or is that relatively new? Thanks.
