RIP Wally Moon
Former Cardinal & Dodger Wally Moon passed away on Saturday. He was Rookie Of The Year in 1954, a 3 time All-Star and won a Gold Glove in 1960.
My Cardinals gave him away to the Dodgers in 1958 for Gino Cimoli! (then after one year they ship Cimoli to the Pirates for Ron Kline...) A nice write up on Mr. Moon from the LA Times http://www.latimes.com/local/obituar...htmlstory.html Last edited by cardsfan73; 02-12-2018 at 12:15 AM.

He hit a home run in his first ML at bat.

Here are both versions of his 1955 Topps card ( red dot above i in auto), and his 55 Topps Hocus Focus card, which is rarer than a super blue blood moon
