Default T206 Cobb is it real or not?

Hello all I am new to the group. I have a question about a T206 I was offered. I never really messed with the T206's before my cutoff was the 50's. Do you think the card is real or not? Thanks for your input. I can't figure out how to add a pic of the back. Sorry for the pic I have not seen it person thesis the only pic of the front I have. I hope to see it tomorrow or Saturday.

Based on what little I can see, it appears real. I would like better scans of the front and back, though.

I am wary of anyone selling a 4-figure card who wont spend $15 to grade it. I know there are the old school guys here who hate having their cards in "tombs" as they call it, but if you are selling it, you should get it graded. My concern, aside from authenticity, would be trimming. Make sure it measures.

Can you get your money back if it doesn't grade?

Looks real, but trimmed.

Agree re grading. No reason in the world someone looking to peddle a rare card wouldn't spring for $15 unless he has suspicions or worse. At least that's my take. Ditto for third and fourth tier grading companies.

looks real based on what I can see. Could be trimmed, but the borders look wide enough. There seems to be a little wave to the cut and the corners are more worn than the edges, which would point toward trimmed, but could be a distortion of the holder.

Looks real to me based on this one pic, though likely trimmed (top and bottom borders look a little concave).

Look for dotting patterns in the shading of the front when you have it hand. All legitimate t206 will feature this and I've never seen a fake that could replicate it. Here's an example:

Good luck!
