I'm seeing a ton of these types of listings. One things is for sure: this guy(s) is keeping the screw down holder market healthy.

![]() You will see several older and newer cards of various players as well as major rookies of different years. As more and more card shops closedown , it becomes harder and harder to get the scarce cards you dream of owning. But thanks to eBay ,the passion of card collecting can live on !

"I've never had any graded as it is very expensive to do."
So basically they can't spend $200 to get it graded even though it's like a $40,000 card. Seems legit.

When I think expensive card for sale I mainly look for guys who have 2 feedback. This one fits the bill on both ends.

Just mess around with him, I placed a bid of $1.00 when there were no bids.
Somehow, suddenly, there was a bid. So I bumped it twice. If a listing say 0 bids, and you do one, then suddenly, there are others? Is there a shill application out there? Similar to a snipe, but for shilling? There were zero bids when I placed my first. Something crazy going on here. |

You have to love the honesty in the item description:
"You are looking at a 1933 Goudey Nap Lajoie. I am selling several cards that I have recently acquired as well as some from my personal collection. I've never had any graded as it is very expensive to do. So therefore I am listing and selling this card and everything as reprints."

His Ebay ID is pennypincher, so it makes sense he would want to save money on grading.
