Need help identifying/dating a baseball
Good afternoon All,
I am trying to identify/date a recent pick up. Its a Ford Frick ball, but on the reverse it is marked as an international League ball and has a president or commissioner stamp on it (I can make out the first name as Charles). Attached are the 3 photos with stampings. If you have any info/insight, please let me know. Thank you! |

It's Charles H. Knappe, league president. He was only president of the National League it appears until 1935 so there is very little overlap between Ford Frick starting MLB President and Knappe bowing out.

What Jeff said. With more specific dates:
That style of Frick ball stamping dates to 1936-1940. Knappe was IL president from 1929-1936. Combine the two, and you can narrow it down to 1936.
