Default HELP!!! - E-95 Philadelphia Caramel Cobb Variation?

I've had this Ty Cobb card for quite some time and have been unable to identify it correctly. As you can see it is the same photo as the E95 Philadelphia Caramel with a different background and it is a blank back. I was told this forum to locate accurate descriptions of older card variations.

Hi,

You could post this on the main forum for more responses.

Some E95 cards like yours come from a notebook and do sometimes have blank backs. Other hand cut E95s have been found with partial advertisement backs. I'm not sure if yours is authentic. It looks a bit artificially rounded/aged. Color looks off to me as well. I could be wrong though. You don't see these every day.

Here are a couple of old threads that may be relevant. There are probably more over the years if you use the search function.

Best of luck with it.

I can't recall exact details, but authentic examples were most likely cut from an advertisement or some sort of promotional item.

Your example appears to be a reproduction, unfortunately.
