Default OT - Walter Camp's Football c 1879

These drawings by Frederic Remington appeared in the 1888 Harper's Weekly. The sketches are based on a football practice during Walter Camp's era at Yale. I do not known if the originals exist, but I found them interesting. They appeared on a single page in Harper's.

Camp's 1879 team, which he captained is also shown.

That guy in the middle of the team picture at bottom, holding the ball, looks a little like my daughter's boyfriend. I doubt it's him though.
