Take my opinion with a grain of salt - but I just built the 55 set with a 6 Clemente, Koufax, Killebrew, Aaron, Banks, Williams, Kaline and Mathews. The raws are Ex+ except for Snider and Rizutto that are VG and need upgraded and a VG-Ex Jackie Robinson. It took me just over 5 grand to build this set. Since your Clemente is a 5 and Koufax is 5.5, but you have a lot of PSA 6 commons, I would guess that you would be around $3500-$4000 to sell it as a set and if you wanted the time and expense of doing it in lots or card by card, you might be able to get $4500-$5000. ($1400 for Clemente, $500 for Koufax (?).)

At a glance, it seems like $6,000 would be a stretch, but there might be a better market for the PSA 6 commons which could collectively bring up the price than I am giving it credit for. The caveat is that I tend to ridiculously overpay for everything, so the guys that are in the buying and selling business might be chuckling at my number. Sean Bassik is probably your bet for a solid price both wholesale and retail.

I was thinking something similar as Kevin.....$4000ish. Still a great set in Mid-to-upper-mid condition. Early 1950's rookies are hot right now too. Might not be a bad idea to hold onto it for a while. I'm still a ways away from my set but 1957's on my radar for now. Good luck whatever you decide to do with it.

Thanks for the insight...appreciate the help from all. I spent 5 years collecting the set and would like to hang on to it for a bit.

If you know what you paid for the set card by card I would say it is worth about 75% of that to a collector as a complete set or 40% of what you paid to a reseller.
