Ive recently got interested in photo collecting. Other than framing each photo or placing in Ultra Pro pages and then into a binder, are there any creative ways members display their photo collection??

There was a famous sports bar in Detroit called the Lindell AC. On one wall they simply nailed wood molding across the wall as a top and bottom frame. Then they secured the photos under plexiglass. This photo is from the same bar, but the photos on this wall are framed.

Depends on your decorating style. Some prefer lots of photos covering the wall. Others prefer nice frames to accent the photos.
I prefer frames, but often I will scan and copy the original and frame the copy while keeping the original secure. Some of the higher end collectors keep their most valuable photos in a safe deposit box. Framing a copy allows for enjoyment and protection. Here are a couple of my walls in my mancave. In these some are the originals and some are copies, but no one can tell the difference. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I like the idea of framing copies. Here's a few of my originals I've copied for framing, placed in protective sleeves to be labeled, then safely tucked away.

I disagree with NashVol, how can you put them away???? Not to be seen, that's the point of having originals hanging up to enjoy them. The beauty of them, not a copy.
LordStan has a mini Hall of Fame, it's awesome!!! Copies wouldn't be the same, unless they are copies of ones that are too expensive to ever obtain. But if you can afford, and outbid, discover, uncover, etc. You have to enjoy the spoils. I know to each their own, but unless you have kids playing paintball or football in the house, put 'em up, enjoy every time you glance at them. |

Thanks for the compliments Mike, Scott, and Paul.
I don't hang all copies or originals, but there are some originals that I just don't want to chance hanging due to things like fading from light exposure or even possible theft. That's the nice thing about collecting is that there is no one right way. Whatever you find to your liking is what you should do.
