Default Pelty

Did anyone win that Barney Pelty on eBay last night ?

I really wanted that and would like to discuss a trade or to buy it. It went for only $36 so mad I fell asleep so early.

You should use a snipe service, like Auction Sniper, Gavel Snipe, etc.

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic, but if not, it's a service that will bid on eBay for you within a few seconds of auction close.

I was dead serious. I usually do my bidding like that anyway but in situations like last night that would have helped out a lot.

I use gavelsnipe.com

It's free and makes your life easier. It's pretty easy to use, but you can PM me if you have any questions.

If only I signed up a couple days ago. I'd have a Pelty and finally have a Kleinow and the tough one to get that cheap ahhhhhhhh.

Josh don't forget that just because the final bid was $36, that doesn't mean that you would have paid $37 if you had bid. The winning bidder may have left a bid twice that high, that would only be revealed if you had bid higher.

Good point but I was so mad about the Pelty that I was willing to dish out at least $60 for that Kleinow.

Awesome gesture, Bob...bravo! What you said here about enjoying the set vs just running through it, couldn't be more true. It seems when you start the set, you get discouraged in a sense because you know it's a long haul until you finish it, but the end isn't what you should be looking forward to, it's the middle part...

Good luck on your journey, Josh and remember to enjoy every step of the way!

I'd just like to say a HUGE thanks to Bob for this. He is being INCREDIBLY generous with offering to give me a Pelty and even asked if I preferred Piedmont or Sweet Caporal lol !!!

What a true gentleman.
