Default 1953 Jim Thorpe Death Notice Postcard

Hello everyone,
I picked up this 1953 Jim Thorpe Death Notice Postcard and was wondering if anyone had any information on it. Kind of a cartoonish way for delivering the grim news I think!

Never seen it, kind of odd like you said

I have a Carlisle program with those same reverse swastika / good luck symbols. Always odd to see it

Swastikas started out meaning good luck and prosperity to Indian Cultures
