W514 Bancroft (Giants) PSA 4 * Key Card *

W514 Dave "Beauty" Bancroft (Giants) #40B PSA 4. Bancroft was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1971. This team variation card is one of the keys to the W514 set. PSA has only graded 4 copies of the #40B Bancroft (Giants) variation, compared with 16 copies of the #40A Bancroft (Quakers) variation and between 15 and 50 copies of most other Hall of Famers in the set. There are two other PSA 4s and none graded higher. The history is this. The W514 set was issued from 1919-1921. Bancroft was traded from Philadelphia to New York on June 7, 1920.
