FS: Tough HOF Player Bill "Willie" Foster PSA/DNA LOA Negro Leagues SOLD

I will shortly have available a pair of autographs of this incredibly tough Hall Of Famer. Foster was not especially receptive to autograph requests and not very many people bothered to ask. He passed away in 1978 and was elected to the Hall in 1996.

These are the only autograph examples that I have ever seen of his that are signed "William H Foster". Normally he seems to have signed either WH Foster or Willie Bill Foster.

The first is a cut which will measure approximately 3x6 inches.



The second is actually the bottom part of the reverse of the above page. This page contains not only an example of his autograph, but also several other partials, as Mr. Foster listed his child (conveniently also named William Foster, just with a different middle name) as well as his wife. Also on the reverse of this page is yet more of his handwriting. A spectacular assortment of a full name autograph and several partial autographs. His autograph on this page has a slight piece of paper that is kind of like a raised flap that encompases thw W and I, although this could certainly be easily repaired to keep permanently down. This will measure approximately 6x6 or so.



This is a rare opportunity to pick up a very tough HOFer for your collection. These do not pop up for sale very often.
