Need to fund a major purchase so I have to let these cards ride.

Up for auction are 5 examples from the 1938 Gallaher Racing Scenes series in Near Mint condition more or less.

Yes, that's 5 examples or over 10% of the entire set. You could easily pay $20 or more for the entire set (but they wouldn't be authenticated or graded), but I am forced to sacrifice this lot for an opening bid of a single penny. One penny increments are requested as a minimum, but nickel increments or more are fine with me.

The winning bidder will be asked, but not necessarily required, to pay the actual shipping charges as well. Local pickup is also an available option.
I am willing to crack the slabs (but it would be a shame for this high grade lot)
to reduce those actual shipping charges.

This auction will run until Sunday evening 5/18 at 9PM or until there is a bid if no bids have been placed by then.

Full disclosure: After the sale I will retain the right to use the image of the "Start" featuring the five jockey derrieres and the five horse's arses in future postings on Net54 when appropriate.
