Up for sale tonight is a very nice, original c1945 Negro League Player's Banquet photo picturing numerous significant Negro Leaguers of the 1940's, including HOF'er, Satchel Paige. Please see scans for condition and complete listing of all players pictured. This item originated from the legendary Richard Merkin Collection. That's a neat photo Phil. Brewer ought to get in the Hall at some point imho.
Is that supposed to be Paige sitting 3rd from left? Kind of hard to tell in the scan but doesn't look like him, especially at 39 years old. Do you have a clearer shot of him? Thanks, Rob M.
