Hello All!
Who ever won the T206 Carlos Smith Upside Down O.M. Southern League in the Goodwin Auction got, imho, a killer deal! went super cheap! 3K or so with the juice...I think that was a 5-6 K card + easily should have gone....considering brown om will go 2 x that value probably.... Please post if you own one of these rarities(southern league Uppy O.M. printers scrap)....these are 2 X rarer than BROWN OM and have not even been recognized.....they are similar to brown om in the fact that they are all survivors of a printers scrap sheet... there are approx. 12-15 examples of Brown OM known to exist... there are approx. 4 or so known uppy OM Southern Leaguers known to exist... these were all hand cut from one sheet obviously... Brown OM had an ink differentiation....Uppy's had a backwards print set up.. HART, THEBO, SMITH, KING.... are the examples I have seen so far.....I own the THEBO (Thank GOD![]() my pic will follow shortly |
