Virtual garage sale......Some "stuff" for sale...

I had run my virtual garage sale thread here for awhile but took some time off and have now returned to continue the thread. I have decided to rid myself of a good deal of stuff I have accumulated over the years. Many of these items are of higher quality but since I have nobody in my family who wants it I might as well sell now so that if anything ever happens, my wife isn't stuck dealing with it.


The first item on the list is a factory sealed set of 1986 Chicago Cubs team issued cards. This over sized set features Ryne Sandberg and the rest of the 1986 Cubs team. This set was distributed at Wrigley Field on baseball card day with only 10K sets being produced. Many of these sets wound up on the floor of Wrigley Field and most sets were busted open upon receipt. This set is still wrapped in it's original cellophane wrapping. I am asking 8 bucks delivered on this lot.




The next item is a partial MASTER SET FROM THE 2001 Topps Heritage baseball. This is the first set that Topps created in the Heritage series and was done in the style of the 1952 Topps baseball cards. This set had the 1st "series" of cards with both black and red backs, reminiscent of the classic 1952 Topps set. I had been working on this set for a long while and honestly I had lost interest. I am literally 66 cards away from a full master set including the three insert sets but I think I have run out of steam on this one. Included in this set are BOTH the red and black back variations for the first series as well as some short printed SP's on the back end of the set. I have also includes, as mentioned previously the three insert sets with this set.

As mentioned, this is a partial set and will require 66 more cards to give you a master set. Most of the cards that are needed are the high number short prints but these cards can be had for about 2 bucks each so for 80 bucks you can have a master set that is valued at over 500 dollars. These master sets are selling on Ebay...yes they have been selling in the 250.00 neighborhood. For my partial master set I am looking for 150.00 delivered OR best offer. Feel free to ask questions about this set. This set has been stored in penny sleeves and a card shoe box since they were pulled from packs and are pack fresh condition wise.

The next item I have for sale is a 2008 Topps Heritage baseball set. This is the complete base set (Minus 5 short prints that I always intended to find) AND a full set of the black variations. These cards are all minty fresh and will look great in your collection. You will receive the complete base set, stars and all (minus the 5 SP's) AND the black variations. These cards have been pulled directly from packs and sorted into a set where it has set since that day in 2008.

Each of these missing cards are available on Ebay right now for under 4 bucks each. Jon Lester is typically a bit higher in price. For a small cash outlay (20 bucks or less on Ebay) you can purchase the needed cards for this set. Once you purchase this set and the 5 needed cards you can have a complete base set of 425 cards as well as the complete black variation SP set. Base sets are going for around 50 dollars on Ebay and the black variation set is going for around 50 as well. I am looking to get 60.00 delivered on this set. And to help offset the cost of having to purchase the 5 cards you need to complete this set I will throw in some high numbers as well as the Flash backs insert set.

Next up is a large amount of in person autographed cards. I will sell by the card or by the whole lot. Just let me know what you would like. Shipping will be 2.00 bucks per card unless you are OK with a plain white envelope and a card saver for shipping. I certainly will combine shipping if buying more than one card.
