This seller keeps making them and naive collectors keep buying them
so i keep trying to expose the corruption, http://www.ebay.com/itm/1968-Topps-1...item4ac61b37c5 Last edited by pepis; 06-27-2013 at 08:21 PM. |

Seems to me that the seller is being very careful with the wording of the description. No mention of " original " or " authentic ". I read the description as " There are 12 cards from 1968 Topps which have been cello wrapped with a HoF'r on top ". Clearly the seller is trying to deceive a potential buyer.

Someone else pointed it out on CU forum but there's a crease over the drysdale name on checklist card.
Horrible! |

The seller is guaranteeing the cards are NM/MT. Regardless of the shadiness of the pack I don't think there is any way that checklist could be Nm/Mt from the looks of it.

Except, of course, in the "Bizarro World" where everything is reversed....including the grading scale for sports cards.

He listed a couple of 1969 fake cellos now,
if you look at his feedback you'll notice everything he's sold is fake! the problem is that some may make it into psa holders. |
