I have a Grand Stand ticket stub to the world series Yanks vs. Cards I assume from the 1926 world series. It is not like the general stub you see to the stadium, this ticket gave you the opportunity "if you are tall enough" to view the game. "Fat people bring a long yardstick"? I'd appreciate any information, verifying the year, how is the value in relationship to a stadium ticket.

Seems like STL printers were making these as a gag or something:

Okay, I give, what's the "fat people bring a long yardstick" bit on the ticket all about? I have a feeling I'm about to feel dumb, but that part makes no sense to me.

Maybe that's a piece of humor lost to the ages. And are there varying lengths of yardsticks?

I thought there was something about the ticket entitling you to 3 feet of space therefore fat people need a longer yardstick. I have had this for several years I don't know where I read that.
