Default New guy

Hello,

I've been lurking for about a month now as I get back into collecting cards, I collected as a kid during the 80s-90s boom. I've dabbled in coins too but think I'm going to focus on cardboard as it has more sentimental value to me. I'm not really sure what I'm going to focus on yet, there are currently only a few items on my "must have" list, including a Ted Williams 1941 Playball and 1948 Leaf... love the look of those cards and my dad used to watch Ted play when he (my dad) was a little boy in Boston.

I myself live in Charlotte, NC and work full-time for the National Guard. Have a great wife and a 4 year old boy who I hope to get into collecting cards like I was, so I guess I'll be dabbling in moderns in a few years when he's old enough to enjoy breaking wax!

Great forum and thanks for having me here! Look forward to learning more and sharing my pick-ups.
