What professional football player had the longest interval of time between two consecutive pass receptions? Who was it and how long was the interval?

Good one, Frank. I have no clue who this is but my first inclination is that it's someone who is involved in an infrequently used trick play. Perhaps a pass back to a QB or someone who is "tackle eligible" at the goal line.
But maybe I'm over thinking it. jeff |

Brett Favre? I know he caught his own pass in 1992, and nfl.com says he caught another in 2009.

Seems like a good guess. Particularly since Frank is a Packers fan (and shareholder!).

Interval 17 years 21 days.
First NFL pass was interecepted for TD in 1991. First NFL completion was a pass deflected by a defensive lineman back to Favre who then became the receiver of his own pass. (9/20/92) With Minnesota in 2009 on October 11th, he was once again both the passer and receiver. I believe that on this occasion, he was pressured and his pass hit one of his offensive lineman on the helmet and bounced back toward him. Neither of these were planned plays and neither resulted in a gain.
